In this Course you will learn to:

  • Analyze movement, see and sense what is happening in you and your clients
  • Differentiate and Integrate movement to create higher performance
  • Understand the power of imagining movement and how it pertains to performance, pain reduction and cognitive processing
  • Experience movement lessons that will improve sports activities for yourself and your clients
  • Experience movement lessons that will stimulate brain/mind functioning for improved emotional and physical well-being
  • Experiment with hands on techniques that clarify movement performance
  • Understand how refined small movements pertain to sports activities
  • Understand how movements of the trunk; ie. flexion, extension, side bending and rotation pertain to all sports and daily activities
  • Refine movement skill through awareness and self observation
  • Transferring skills form mentally rehearsed and small movements to ideal performance
  • Understand self care, recuperation and fitness
  • Understand the importance of self regulation, mind/body regulation and fitness

You will learn experientially by participating in Awareness Through Movement lessons and by watching Functional Integration demonstrations. In addition lectures and discussions applying these techniques to your self and your clients will be given. You will leave this course with useful skills and information.
